Jeff Grundahl
Owner and President

Jeff is an award-winning and respected leader with more than 25 years of experience in the industry, including both commercial and residential construction. His vision for his companies is to be “the single resource” and complete construction solution for his clients, including real estate, design, site engineering, mechanical planning & engineering, and all phases of construction, in addition to full remodeling services both in commercial and residential construction. Jeff is an active member of key industry organizations, including Associated Builders & Contractors, Inc., National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), Madison Area Builders Association (MABA), and Wisconsin Builders Association (WBA).

Robin Roberts
Partner and Director of Client Services

Robin has been in the commercial construction industry since 1975, founded Roberts Construction in 1981 and maintains ownership in NCI-Roberts. He leads client services and business development and works with clients from the concept phase and design, through construction and project completion. Robin is a winner of 15 Associated Builders & Contractors, Inc. (ABC) of Wisconsin “Project of Distinction” awards as well as several ABC safety awards. He holds a degree in architecture.

Mike Trapino
Operations Manager

Mike has vast experience in the construction industry, with more than 25 years of experience in project management, job site supervision, safety management, scheduling, and human resources. A thorough planner and one with attention to detail, he has under seen the successful completion of many church, non-profit, financial, education institution, residential, food service, and retail projects. Mike leads the operations of company and holds an Associate’s Degree in Civil Engineering from MATC in Madison, and is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Neil Johnson
Superintendent and Construction Engineer

Neil brings more than 37 years of construction and structural engineering experience to the company. As the founder and past owner of National Construction, Inc., (NCI) he has worked on many of the design-build projects one sees in the greater Madison Area. He has extensive knowledge in all areas of the industry and oversees education institution, church, industrial, municipal, non-profit, and retail projects. Neil studied at the UW Platteville and MATC in Madison, where he obtained a surveying and engineering degree.

Ben Kennedy
Project Manager

Ben has more than 4 years of experience in project management, site engineering and masonry. He works on a broad spectrum of projects including, churches, multi-family residential, manufacturing and retail facilities and educational institutions. Kennedy is very customer oriented and strives to thoroughly understand client’s needs to ensure that their project goals are met. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Building Construction Management from University of Wisconsin – Platteville, and is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
